Moved and carried that Ail Harding act- as Clerk.
The Com1ttee appointed from the Council to act in conjunction with the Water
coruni9sionera.in_regard to the purchase of a new pump at white river station made a report
that theyhad met with Mr Parsons of -Joplin and-rece"ivei-from-him-.'a bii-en-a.--Pump and Motor
,whereupon anotion was made that the report be received, carried.

Aid Harding moved that Ali J,M:Philips be elected as Mayor for the unexpired term of
Mayor-. Allan MoWilson whose ree,ignati4n takes effect on this date,whimh was duly sec by Ali
S tephens,resulted in the following vote Ayes A1dAmbrese,Cornwell ,Hs.riifi ,Maas"i-e-,Stephens,
Nayes non,e,Absent and not voting non_e,Ald Phillips not voting, The Chair declared the moti•
adopted.
Prof Gladson from the Water Commission was present and reported to the Council that
they ha,d contractee --for an moter and Pump -for White- river--stat,ion--w-ith-delivery in about
three or three and one half months.
