Ali Massie introduced the following resolution and moved its adeption,towit:

Resolved by the CAty Council of theCity of F a.yetteville,A'rkansa.s:'
Section 1. Thaaherea* er the Chief of Police of the City of Fayetteville
shall be paid a monthly salaryof $85.00.--

Section 2. That the-Assistant-Cheif -of'Poli-ce-shall receive a'monthly salary
- of $80000
S'ec.tion 3.. That the Night Watchman shall -receive a monthly -salary of $25.00.

_ Section 4. -That hereafter the City Clerk of theCity of Fayetteville shall ##i

}i issue a Warrant in favor of said Cieif of Police,A'ssistant Cheif of Police and Night
Watchman for the respective amounts above set forth.
Section 6.That said salaries shall be paid for the month of July,1913,and
thereafter on the first day of each month:
