Both have modern apparatus -for ster-l.izing all milk bottles_ and_cans by steam: Mrs Goy has only a.few cows,some 4 or 5 and seems to take much pains in a cleanly and approved-wa.y :C-ates-Dairy is -situated 4 - ,.miles -south of town and o####7!# operated by Mr J.H.Cates,he is new at the buisness and his equipment is very meagre I think the man and his-wif-e are -making an honest -effort -to supply --------- „ theit patrons with a reasonably clean and w####fi#4 wholesome milk,they have no steam ster##iliz er but depend upon 'boiling -water- heated -upon an- ordinary --cook -stove- for--s.teril.iz.ing bottles and cans . The Liebolt Dairy is kept resonably clean so far a6 the barn a.rd yard are concerned this dairy is sadly -lacking in -modern -equipment -no -steam. -boiler for-_steriliza t_iop_purpoaea Mr Liebolt depends upon heating water upon an oratinary box stove for washing bottles and cans this stove -is in -the milk house this is a. whollyin_a_## inadequate way of caring for bottles and cans it might ¢o for. e, small dairy of 4 or 5 cows,but•cannot be any thing but a make shift - in -a dairy.of__25 or.30_cows,he has no racks for draining bottles after they are washed 3 of the large dairies Vis porters oaklawnJ.W.Collins on East mountain and -Collins Bros have goneout of buisness.I have colect O semi annual license of One dollar ech from Morrow,The Alfala and Goy and hand over the Amount $3.00 herwith I declined -to issue license- too#Leiboly-and Cates _ Dairies until,their equipment for s####T. sterilizing bottles and cans is modernized, - - - -- Very -re spectfull W.N.Yates, M.D. --- - - - ---- --- _city Health offficer.
