» Mr Bruce Holcomb was present--and-presented the following petetion which wale read and
filed with the Coun cil Towit:

The undersigned your petetioners,would reepectfully,represent and:ahow,that a
petetion signed by more than ten property owners in the city of Fayettevilb,Arkansas,andia
within the territory described within said petetion was presented to your honorable body##
on the 7th day of September,I917,praying that your body take all necessary steps for the
" creation of an improvement district embraced in the -territory described in said petetion
for the purpose of improving,by grading,roll,ing,a.nd macadamizing the following streets and
partsofstreets including the laying of curbs and necessary underdrainage .upon the plana
and specifications adopted. by the Board of Improvement of said district, to wit.:

for the said road on either side of City Land has been obtained, that it_ is impossible to
*build and maintain the present road, That if right of way is granted as asked a. Bridge
will be put across the Creek on the road asked and that it will be advantagious to the
