CALLED MEETING CITY COUNCIL HELD MAY 2nd I9I7. Absent Clerk,

Ald Harding was selected to a.ct as clerk.
This meeting was called for the purpose of receiving -a -report from the 'Vater Comm Be
ioners in regard to the proposed Filteration Plant.
Prof. Gladson from the Commizssioners reported that they _eould_.inetall a plant -at approx - -
imate coat of $225000. he also exibited plans for same,

Mayor Wilson • appointed-C.O.Hanea.rd as Fire -Chief; whereupon Police"Judge Stirman swore
in Mr Honeard as Fire Chief, Mr Carlisle was present and asked that the Fire Committee
me t with him and check-up the property .at the fire -station at Seven Oclock the{,{#{§(
next day,Ma.yor asked the Fire Committee to
meet with Mr.Carlisle. '-_-
The reports of the vardous'City Officals for the month of April was read,whereopon Ald
Massie moved that the reports be referred to.the Alf#### Finance Commmittee for --investigation
which was duly Sec by Ald`Phillips,resulted -in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambtose,Cornwell,
Harding,Massie,Phillps,Stephens,Nayes none,Abeent ndd not voting none. Mayor declared the m_

Ald Cornwell handelin the repotte of the various officals for the month of Ma.rch,which
was found_ to be corr_ect,w'hereupon.Ald Harding -moved th###### that the reports be received and
filed,which was duly Sec by Ald Ambrose,resulted in the following votesAyes Ald Ambrode,Corn
