anaas,to enter into a contract for the purchase of motor driven fire apparatus.
BE IT ORDAINED BY -THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILiE,ARKANSAS.
Section One. That by passage of this ordinance the Board of Public Affairs of the
City. of -Fayette Wille-,Ar.kansae, is hereby author_iged. to _enter_ into a ,c ontrac.t_ for -the --
purchase of
the_purchase-of modern motor driven fire apparatus at a coat not to exceed the aum of
Eighty five hundreddollars (68500.00) not including interest.
Section T###_ Two. That. this ordinance be in force and effect from and after its
passage,approval and publication and all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict

We the members of the City Board of
.Health at a calad meetin.g,do hereby recommend the appointment of Jay Shelly as Sanitary
Police,for the city of Fayetteville,
Also recommend the appointment of Dr.W.N.Yates as City Health Offieer,and request
your honorable -body to make the two above appointments.
We have also organized the liealth Board by electing Dr C.B.Paddoek as chairman

the City after some discussion Ald Harding moved to refer the matter to thecstre t committee
