•Mr Raynes of The A### American n La France Fire Truck was present and addressed the
-Council in regard -to Fire Engine Pumping Maehine,after some dissuasion by Council Aid
Price moved that a Committee be appointed to go to Little Rock to inveatigate the Machines
there and report back to council,which was duly Sec by Ald Eason,resulted in the follow
ing vote Ayes-"Ald Cornwel4Eaeon,Hardinf,Phi111ps,Price,Stephens Nayest�none;Absent.and not
voting none,Mayor declared the,motion adopted.
- - Mayor appointed Ald Harding,Pr-ice.Stephetid and -Fire .Chief Duggane-Ra a'_ -committee.

Ald Price moved that the, Clerk draw a warrant for -the -sum -of $600.00 payable to A.M.
Bryned Warrant to be paid July I5th I9I7,which was duly Sec by Aid F.arding,resulted in

voting Aid Cornwell,Mayor declared the motion adopted.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OFTHE CITY.OF FAYETTEVILLI:,j%?Kj)d4SAS:
That the firm of_Smelsor and Eason be. granted the- option tof.continuing_the rentla of
the building used by them as a feed store and mill,and situated in the City Wagon Y2rd,at
the rate ,of Fifteen Dollars ($I5.00) per l:on.th during the life of the present contract
between the City of Fayetteville and A.M.Pyrnes,under the terms of wh1ch contract the City
has the use of the said City ",agora Yard for the team of ,Seven years from the Ist day of

,.-AN ORDINANTCE,TO amend Section one of Ordinance I80,passed and approved on the I9th
day of May I906.
hA BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILE4RSANSAS:
Section One. That hereafter itshall be unlawful for any person or persona to ride a.ny
bicycle,veloc_ipede.coacting wagon. or other vehickle of whatsoever kind or description upon
.�3 'the'sidelaa.lks within the corporate limits -of -the city of Fa.yettevile,Arkansas,Provided„ ,
tL nothing herein contained shall be so construed as to apply to-the'use,of.,roller skates,
upon the said`sidewalks during the daylight hours. -
4�� Section Two. Any person or persona violating Section One of thi''s Ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a- misdesmeanor,and upon -conviction thereof shall be punished by_a fine_ of
y not less than One Dollar ($I.00) or more than Ten Dollars ($IO.00) far each offense.
Jt Section Three. That thisordinan--ce'be in force and effect from and after its passage
