Your comrittee. is advised that Merrss George Appleby and :.ia.ck 2lorton,acting upon the
advise, or consent of D_r.H.D."lood,County health Officer,caused a number of persons suffering
14 + with typhoid fever to be moved from the Morton faxen to this city.
The local authorities were not consulted in thismrnatter,and knew nothing of it until the

In all fairness the locrl authorities sho'uld have been consulted before these unfortun
ate people -were brought_ into thecity.
