Arkansas,is unavoidably absent from the city,and;

as oolice judge during the absense of the regular judge,
NOW THEREFORE BE-IT-RESOLVED-BY-THE-COUNCIL-OF5 _THE._C.IT.Y OF__FAYET.TEV_ILLE,ARKAVSAS.:
Section I. That ,V.B.Smith,a justice of the peace in and. for Prairie Township,
'7ashington_County,Arkaneas_,be and he is hereby duly appointed police judge of said City during `

WHEREAS the embankment -of -the main line of the Std Louis and San Franeisoo Sail Road -Co, -

extends across 'Wall Street,completely blocking and obstructing the same;and
I i7EEI3EAS,said Wall Street -;being completely -blocked -the -traffic is forced -to -turn -South--- -- - -
and out of daid street in order to pass through the trestle,which is south of Wall Street;
__-and,11HEREAS-by reason of--the-foresaid-obsbrue-t-ion-a-danger-ious and-ha.zardious-turn-in-the --- in the street is necessary;and,
-- ----- --- 1hEREAS,,the- said -I?ail_Road-Gompany is contemplating_ the construction of a._ steel trestle
in place of the present treacle; and,
_17HEREAS,the ccontem]:.lated trestle will be in the same location as thepresent one and s theatre
as the said street is completely blocked as aforesaid,
21047 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYE=VILLE,ARKANSAS:

embankment that the North opening will be in exact line with the North line of Wall Street;

deviation in said street will be necessary in order to go through the said trestle.
