Minutes.of the Previous meeting was read and approved. The Reports of the various
Officals for the month of Febunry was -read and upon motion of Ald. Phillips which -was
(: duly Sec by Ald Eason that the reports be referred to the Finance Committee. Carried.

TO__THEMAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OR FAYETTEVILLE�_ARKANS AS:
We,the undersigned, members of the Board of Public Affairs of the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, hereby state that the cost of a combination hose and chemical fa
l fire wagon -as is contemplated being purchased for the Fayetteville Fire Department is
I250,00, and we recomend that such purchase be made;and to that end we recomend that
the ordinance hereto attached authorizing such expenditure be passed.

Ald Cornwell moved that the rules be further suspended and the ordinance be placed a
on its third and final reading, which was duly Sec by Ald Price, ?notion carried.
Question is now shall the Ordinance be passed as read. Roll was called which..resulfit
ed in the following vote, Ayes A1dCornwell, Cravens, Eason, Phillips, Price, Nayes none,
`Absent and not voting Ald Stephens, Mayor declared the Ordinance passed. --
