Regular Meeting City Council -held August- 7_I9I4*-
Present Mayor, Clerk, A1d,,Cray.ens, Eason, Phillips, Sour, Stephens. Absent. Aid, Coawell
Dr. S,W.Davies was present and asked'the Council to sllow.'him damages for•lowering
walks and- "tting.-his shade trees in front, of hisresidence, the matter was referred to the
Street Committee for investigation and report back to the Council.
The Minutes of the previous meeting was read and exproved.
A communicatcion from -Chief Duggans was- read to--the-Counail in regard to -Chris Manual
being w. member of, the- City Fire Dept, statting that he,,- was not liable.: for street tax, same
was referred to the Fire and Water Commitee.
The.reports of the City Officials for the Monthof July was -read and on motion of Aid
Eason and Sec by A1d:Stephens that the reports be.referred. to the Finance Committee:,
Motion carried.
