Motion was made by A1dCravens and Seo. by A1d.Sour that the City pay Dr.Towlera50.00 per Month for his services as Healthofficer, Motion was put.with the following vote Ayes, Cravens ,Sour ,Nayeei Cornwell ,Eason , Phillips, Stevens,Absent and not voting none. Pr Motion was "lost. - - - - - Motion was -made by, Ald-.Cravens- and Sec:. - by A1d.Sour-- that City -accept: D_.Towlers - - _._,;_res.ienatdon, .Motion -was pmt_and-car-r-ied. ___„Mr. C-.A.Mullhollard_ and- Mr. Reynolds was_preeent- and adressed_ the•_Counc_il and the question was brought up to see if Funds could not be raised -in some wa.y- to _pay the increas in the salary of the City Health officer. It was sujjested that see -if it could be possible that the Electric Light Co. would __•�___ _ µmake_nn allowance _for _Monnl_igh_t_ nights _by_not-burning-_any,Eleatricty_-on such; -nights and Dr.Towler was asked to hold the office until the next meeting of the Council. Motdon was made by A1d.Sour and Sea.by Aldo Cravens that the Motion be reconsidered that was made to accept the resignation of Dr -.Towler. Notion was put end carried. The Mayor appointed the following as a Committee to write and see what other Cities were doing.in reference to moonlight lighting services. Sign in front of hiM Buianess on the south side of square. Moved by Aldo Sour that Council give Mm Weatherby permission to put up Elect'rict Sign -- - - - --- ---- - - which was seconded by Ald. Eason, Motion was adopted by the following votd Ayea;,Cornwell, FArson,Sour.Stevens, Nayes.Cravens:,Phi111pai,Absent and not voting none, Motion carried. _. .-. --- -- - - - Mr: Ed. Sharp was present and addressed the bouncil in regard to the Street opened in the south part of Town between School and Locust Street., Moved by Ald. Stevenm and Seco by q1d Cravens that Council refuse. to act on petition to open street between Locust andSchool Streets and further that City refuse to take: any.ac.tion or step to defend any action taken to compel City to open said Street. Ayes.Cornwell,Cravens,Phillips,Sour,Stevene:, Nayes, Eason, Motion carried. Moved by A1d,,.Sour•and Sec, by A1d,Phillips that City accept - amended Plat of Ferfguson-Addition which shows 4th Street a8 located as it now stands 41 n2ggu3ar.
