jupon motion of Aldo Sour, seconded by Aldo Phillips, A1d.Price was elected President Pro Tem.
'Mr. J.B.Loeke, President of the Fayetteville Gas & Electric Co. of this City, was
present and in behalf of _his company_asked that the City_make arrangements to settle their

- ,bills_with.the-_Electric Co. on the 10th. of each month, which the Council. agreed -to do.
A body _of_ citizens_ from_Quicktown appeared before the Council and.registered a kick
on the smallpox patient being- left- in -their part_of_the_City-and_so__close_t.o some_of -their
1homes and asked _the City to have him removed at once. !'s the City has no poiwer in the case

upon Aldo Sour moved that the rule be suspended and said ordinance be read the second time,

to read as follows

" Be it resolved by the Council of the City -of Fayetteville, Arkansas:
That all persons owning property along the West side of Vandeventer Avenue, between
- Lafayette--Avenue-and-2daple-3treet—be-and-they-are-hereby-required-to-construct-sidewalks

along and in front of their respective lots.
