WHEREAS, at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,

perty, within the district herein described in Section One of this Ordinance, was presented.

Sec.2.
- -- That -said -Di -strict - shall -hereafter -:be- known--and-designated as Paving Improvement.- --
District No.l, of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Sec.3.
That said District is laid off for the purpose of paving said described parts of stree
.iwith some modern and permanent paving material other than macadam. The Board of Improvement of .
said District shall be empowered to receive bids for paving said parts of streets within said
-"District -with any modern -and permanent paving material other than macadam to be laid on either -
conc.rete or crushed stone foundation.
- In the event that the cost of paving said streets from curb line to curb line will
exceed twenty per cent of the assessed valuation of all property in said district, then -it shall
the in the discretion of the Board of Improvement to park or otherwise reduce the width of the
paving. -

That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are
hereby repealed, and -this -ordinance -shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage
approval and publication.
