An ordinance laying off certain territory within the corporate limits of the city of
-Fayetteville; -Arkansas,--into-an -improvement-di-st-rict-for--the-purpose- o -f-- improving -certain- - -
streets named therein; designating the number of the district, defining the boundaries thereo
_and naming_ the same.,
Whereas, at a meeting of the city council of the city of Fayetteville, Arkansas, held
on the Sth day of December, 1912, a, petition signed by ten resident owners of real property

within the district hereinafter described in section one of `this ordinance, was presented to
said council asking that it take steps towards the making of an improvement donsisting of
-paving with some -modern and -permanent -paving -material other-than-macada,-the-following named
streets, towit - Dickson Street from the West line of the St. Louim-
s & San Francisco Company's,
-right of way --to the-West-line-of-the-College-Avenue;-Block-Street-from.-Dickson-Street-to_the-
Public Square, and East Street from Dickson Street to the Public Square, and the Public Square
(except the part _thereof awned- by -the United_States Goverment used__a_s_a. Post Office site)-, an
the parts of Center, Mountain, Easy and Block Streets adjacent to the Public Square; and
Whereas, in said petition it was further prayed that the Council lay off a stipulated
portion of said street _ or streets -into an -improvement-distri-ct for making -said" improvements, "
NOW THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
