to the property owners be required to construct cement curbs in front of their respective prop ,
perties,,Which notion was duly seconded and adopted.
Aid. Eason from the Ordinance Committee intorudced the following ordinance,,towit -
"An Ordinance Layingvoff Certain Territory within the Corporate Limits of the City of Fayette_
ville, tirka.nsas, into an_Improvement District for the purpose of- Improvimg.c,erte-in Streets
named„therein, designating the number of the District and defining the boundaries thereof and
namirgtbe,same _",_which ws..s read the first_time , whereupon Aid.., Sour _moved -that the rules be
~ suspended, and said Ordinance. -be- placed. upon its second reading,, which..motion_was duly seconded
by Ald._Suttle and adopted_by- the_following vote _ "Ayes"? _Eason,. Price, Sour.. Suttle and Wri t--
"Nays", none, absent and not voting, Aldo Cornwell, and said ordinance was read the second time,•
whereupon Aid. Suttle moved that the rules Le further suspended and said Ordinance be read the
_ third,time and placed upon its passanp which motion-was duly seconded by Aid. Sour end adopted
by the following vote, "Ayes" _ Eason, Price, Sour, Suttle and Wright,, '!Nays!',, none, atsent and.
not voting, Ald. Cornwell; andsaid Ordinance was read the third time and, placed upon its passaa

The.Mayor submitted a resolution from the Telephone Company to�be passed by the City_
Council ranted said Telephone Company permission to improve their telephone system in the
_-,City of Fayetteville, which was read and upon motion of Aid. Sour referred to the St. Committe'
Aid. Suttle introduced the following resolution, towit _ " Be it resolved,by the City
