A -petition signed by_Dr. ay.N.Yate_s_, at al,_requesting that the Street,known as ..Huntsville Road _be._Put_in.better shape and also -a_ culbert__installed;- after -,atdisgufsion of the said petition, same was referred to the Street Committee for their investigation and report. The Mayor presented the following letter, towit "Little Rock, Arkansas, April 13, 1912. "Hon:P.H.Rollins ,Mayor-, ' Fayetteville,Ark. Dear Sir _ I wish to call your attention to the Fond Amendment Petitions which were sent you «, recently.- -44 .names_.ha_ve_been _r-e.ceiv.ed from -your aity._-On_basis- -of. -the --showing made. by some other - towns of equal size with your city _ Fayetteville, should send at least 500 names. We have found very little opposition to the Amendment. Nearly every man to whom it -- - - ___F — - - - - - has been presented, having signed the petition without question.
