The - -- Committee_ appointed-_by-theMay_or t_o_open-the-_bids _for_ insurance for _the_City-Hospital retired, and open and examined_the _sev.e.ral_b.ids_submi.t-ted-Ly--.the --Insurance-Agents and after an--investig _ __- tion, of same,. returned into the Chambers and reported that.Mr..E..B.Wall.was _the_lowes.t_ bidder, his bid being_for_the sum of $122.50for-three years -for- F,ire.,,Lighting and Tornado Insurance in good -reliable Companies._ - Upon.mo-tion _Council-a.dj_ourned until Monday, April .8, 1,912.. when the. newly elected - Council would meet for organization. The Police Judge administered the oath of office to Mr. Allen .Ma.Y.or.- -------- lilson and Loy„Bishop, the newely_elected City Attorney and_ Clerk.,.re.spectively, Aldo Cornwell -- — - Clerk. 17 Hospital reported_th-t IvIr.A,L-,Trent had _inquired of he, not a -him -whey -Trent, -had -had -chance.- to put in.a bid for_.sa.id-insurance_? And it developed that,through -some __oversight. Mr_ Trent - - las not asked .for a_ bid and he requested that the Council consider --a bid_ whic h he now. placed �in their hands-.-tow-it. His bid being to write the insurance asked.for a.t $1.10; after due_ deliberation upon -the matter the Council �acc•epted his proposition...
