Several petitions requesting the City to order in lights on certain streets were
presented., read and upon motion of Aid. Suttle, seconded by Aid. Cornwell, some were referred
to the Light Committee for their investigation and report. The following accounts agaira t the
City were presented and read towit - J.H.Phippe Lumber Co., $10.84, S.H.Blackmer, $6.00, Light

1, into the matter of opening East Center Street, and take the matter up with Mr. A.Byrnes and do
the best possible for the City's interests. The Mayor appointed the following gentlemen as a
Special Committee to investigate and see if the City can secure a. suitable place for a. dump -L
ground, Aldo Cornwell, Sour and Suttle.
