Suttle, seconded by Aid. Cornwell, some were referred to the Light Committee for their investigation and report. The following accounts agaira t the City were presented and read towit - J.H.Phippe Lumber Co., $10.84, S.H.Blackmer, $6.00, Light } Company $172.00, S.P.Rogers, $3.00; Miss Ball, 50fie, Morley Marble & Granite Works, $35.00, W.T. Farrar- & Co-.,__$33,78.,_�Y.$.Stirma.n,_$2.90, -North Arkansas_ Lumber, Co., $33.,70, which upon -motion - of Aid. Jobe, seconded by Aid. Hight, same were referred to the Auditing Committee for their -investigation and report. The following reports of the City Officials for the month of January _111912 were presented -a.nd_ read towit _ Street Commissioner,- Special D„isbursing. Agent, City_-Audito police Judge,.. Chief _of Police, Supt. of `Nater Plant and_City-Treasurer-;„which reports were_upon _ motion of Ald._Sour,,_seconded by Aid. Hight, referred to the Finance _Committee -for their_ invest - - - gation and report. After a. lengthly discussion, the accounts of S.H.Blackmer against the City_ -- - for $30.00, for extra help hired by Blackmer in building on Dickson Streit, which Blackmer cls ed I was caused by the Cit repairing Dickson Street was upon motion of Aid. Hight, seconded by Aid.. _5 - z - - g --' - Suttle allowed and Clerk instructed to draw warrant for _same.; the vote_ being_ as follows "Ay_Le” Jobe, Hight, Sour and Suttle, "Nays” =None, absent and not voting, Ald.Appleby, Aid. Cornwell --_- - - rIot voting. Upon_mo_tion of-Ald. Suttle seconded by -Aldo -Hight,,. --the Mayor was requested to looc. 1, into the matter of opening East Center Street, and take the matter up with Mr. A.Byrnes and do the best possible for the City's interests. The Mayor appointed the following gentlemen as a Special Committee to investigate and see if the City can secure a. suitable place for a. dump -L ground, Aldo Cornwell, Sour and Suttle.
