The -Special, Committee appointed some time -ago -to-_invest.igate_-the _plans and-spec.ifica ions
fora new_Fire House, reported that plans and specifications.had been, made and -accepted, and
thereupon Alda Hight moved that said plane and specifications be accepted and approved.by the

Council and the Board of Public Affairs be authorized to advertise for bids for building said
Fire House, which motion was duly seconded by Aid. Appleby, and adopted by he folbowing vote,
"Ayes"_- Appleby, Hight, Sour and Suttle, "Nays" _ None, absent_and not voting, Aid. Cornwell
and,Jobe --same receiving a majority of all members elected to the,Council.was therefore declared
to be passed and adopted and plans and specifications were accepted,. approved and said Board
instructed to advertise forbids to build said Fire House.
Aid. Suttle from the Special Committee appointed to investigate the "East mountain
Sewer- & Water ordinance °-reported that this Commi.ittee.wo.ul,d meet..next.Monday night together
gwith the WaterI Commissioner and make their deciesion._ -
