Suttle moved that the City Inspector use the Smoke Test in inspecting the plumb _ put_ in_f.rom__now on.-._which_mot.ion. was_s.e_conded._by_Ald.-Jo.be_,.whereup.on_Ald.-_So.ur-moved_that_an.--__ Iinendame.rt_be_added.-to aaid_motion requiring the-C_ity Inspector -to- furnish this machine_, the roll-__ was. called_and the, following, vote_ was taken -- "_To --adopt said amendment, Hight, Phillips and Sour =< not to _adopt ._said _amendment,_ Appleby,_Jobe and Suttle,_same being a tie vote, -the Mayor voted not - to. adopt_eaid amendment,_ same_ wa.s__therefore declared to be lost.
