I warrant in favor of Bell & Carnahan for $10.50 for rip rap used by the City. 7 Alderman Appleby_introduced an_Ordinance__entitled-,_t°_An__Ord.inance.'fising the salaries of certain City Officials, which was read the first on motion of Aid. Phillips,, the _time,_ _rules- - - -- were suspended tww-thirds of the Council voting therefor and said Ordinance was read the secon time, on motion of Aid. Sour, the rules werefurther_-suspen_ded_,_ti?o-thirds_of the Council votin therefore and said Ordinance was read the third time and olac_e_d_upon its passage, the question i- being shall the Ordinance pass ?
