Sout from the Auditing Committee-reported_the following accounts. examined and_ _- f-ound- correct and on._mot_ion_ and -roll call_ same were allowed- and_ Clerk- instructed to draw warrant ._ t for same as follows, towit :- Fayetteville_ Light Co.- wireing the fire_ house, M.F.Croxd le__ 163, recording deeds, $9.00. On motion of Ald. Appleby, the Clerk was instructed to honor and draw a • in favor of Bell & Carnahan for $10.50 for rip rap,used by.the City._ ^ .warrant _- k _ Alderman Appleby introduced Ordinance entitled,,- �, the salaries ,i t __ .,. ,. hof certain City Officials,_which was read the first time, motion of A14. Phillips,, the rules_-.. -on were suspended two—thirds of the Council voting therefor and said Ordinance was read the secon time, motion of Ald^Sour, the rules were further two—thirds of—the vot_in — _on --- - — _suspended _-,_ -Council_ therefore and said Ordinance was read the third time and placed :the question +- -- ---- -t- - ----- - -- - - -- __upon _its.pa.ssage, i being shall the Ordinance pass ?
