City - -- - --- - of Fayetteville Gentlemen I feel that it is my -duty_ to _gall_your.-attention_ a.t_.this__tim - I -- -- -- .--- - - - - to the " Water 'Question ", which no doubt you have been considering,_I_feel that the. time has - — come when .the City should and must take some -decided steps -to meet, the situation that confrom .s _ _ ,us. I„have carefully considered every thing that has been_af.fored_ an$ the subject_ and reached + the conclusion that Clear( Creek offers the only quick and -sure-solution 'or this most import- ant question and would recommend that you adopt at this meeting a Resolution endorseing Clear --..Creek and take steps at once to perfect and carry into effect some plan by which we can secure adCditional - suppy of water_ from this source with as _little delay_ as_poss-ible_. �7e must agree. upo -- - some practical plan and whileit may not be everything that might be desired still we must keep fin mind our Financial condition as well as our ability to raise money;what,.ever the plan that ever the plan that may be adopted the responsibility_rests up_onyyou- as members of the. City . Council to do something. I trust that you will not delay action in formulating a plan_ to Finanle _ and procure water from Clear Creek I stand to do what I can to help in this matter.
