1. Each and everypublic hackney-, coack, carriage,_s_urrey or other vehicle_used_f.or th

shall be deemed to be public hacks, Each and every such public hack shall have a public_stand_t_i

be designated by the Street Commissioner, subject to the approval of the Eity Council, and it
