''approval and referred to the Finance Committee, - - -- The report of Guy Philips, City Treasurer, for the past month was submitted to the r _Council and referred to the Auditing Committee, _-_ Alderman.Su`tle from theAuditing Committee,. -submitted _a_report relative to the _finici_al co_indition_of the. -City; which_was referred back to the Committee by the Mayor; Alderman Suttle moved that the City Treasurer be required to bring his record and redeemed script before -.the -Council at the next -_meeting that the script might be canceled and burned; Alderman Braly I _ -_-moved-that_ the-tArther_coneideration. of the motion be portended until the next meeting_of_the _ -Council, which motion was not a;^reed to, A vote being taken upon Alderman Suttle's motion the same was not agreed to,_, a Statutory majbiryt not voting, therefor, Alderman _Sour --presented -a request from the Citizens of_East -Mountain for the in-+ _stallation___of-a-Pire-Fiydrant_on Fletcher_ Avenue and Spring Streets, the matter was referred back ` to -the Fireand7.zter Committee to investiZate and re^ort whether the installation of such Hydralit ; - was a_matterfor the action_.of the Council or the Commissioners of the water and Sewer District, — _ s - _ „ Alderman-Braly_ introduced an Ordinance authorizing the appointment of a Special + Inspector_of.Plumbing and.
