HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-08-13 Minutes6(i,+ioz6c-c.0 - 7-73 MINUTES OF A BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING The Fayetteville Board of Adjustment met at 3:30 P.M., Monday, August 13, 1973, in the Directors Room, City Administration Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Members Present: Members Absent: Others Present: Carl Yates, Albert Witte, Connie Clack. Suzanne Lighton, James White. Bobbie Jones. Chairman Carl Yates called the meeting to order. The minutes of the July 23, 1973, Board of Adjustment meeting were approved as mailed. On the agenda for this meeting was a public hearing on Appeal 73-23, James A. Pennington for Doctors Lushbaugh & Cole, Parkhill Clinic for Women, 740 Lollar Lane, on an application to vary setbacks. DRS. There was no one present to represent the application. The Board waited until 4'00 P.M. to see if someone would arrive to represent the appeal. There was no one present to oppose the application either. The Board members discussed the correspondence between F. H. Martin, SCOTTISH INN Attorney representing Scottish Inns of America, and Harold Lieberenz, 3000 N. College City Inspection Superintendent, on Appeal 73-21. On the basis of information Appeal 73-21 supplied by Mr. Martin, Mr. Lieberenz had lifted the stop work order on the canopy for the restaurant for the Scottish Inn. APPEAL 73-23 PARKHILL CLINIC LUSHBAUGH & COLE 740 Lollar Lane No one had arrived at 4:00 P.M. to discuss Appeal 73-23. Albert Witte moved to adjourn the meeting and to notify the applicant that the variance request APPEAL 73-23 would be considered at the next Board of Adjustment meeting to be held August 27 provided there was someone present to represent the application. Connie Clack seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 4:00 P.M. 3�F
