HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-06-15 Minutes*'7�PA.a';�te a, MDUMS OF A BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETIlG 373-2 • The Fayetteville Board of Adjustment met at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 15, 1970, in the Directors Room of the City Administration Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Members Present: J. F. Robinson, Carl Yates, Roy Clinton. Members Absent: J. F. Palmer. Others Present: Be F. Rose, Harold Lieberens. This was a continuation of the June 8, 1970, meeting at which there was not a quorum. The case for consideration was the variance request of Be F. Rose. Mr. Rose desires to erect a carport on the South side of his dwelling at 1441 South West Avenue. The proposed carport would come within 11J feet of a side intersecting street (15th Street) rather than the 15 feet required by ordinance. The danger of backing onto Fifteenth Street was discussed. BeAr. Robinson suggested the possibility of placing the carpo elsewhere on the lot so that maneuvering could be done on property. Mr. Ross said he preferred to put the carport o - his present driveway. I F. ROSS 1441 South West Avenue Carl Yates moved that the application for a variance be approved as requested.
