The Board of Adjustment met at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 1969
in the Directors Room of the City Administration Building,
Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Members Present: J. F. Robinson, J. F. Palmer, Carl Yates.
Members Absent: Roy Clinton, Ed Clement.
Others Present: Mr. and Mrs. G. C. McCombs, Norman R. Barker,
Harold Lieberenz, Wesley Howe.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, J. F. Robinson.
The only request for a variance at this meeting was submitted by Mr.
G. C. McCombs. The applicant was requesting a variance in order to
build a sundeck that will come within 21 feet of the rear lot line
rather than the 30 feet required by the City Zoning Ordinance.
Representing the petition were the property owners, Mr. and Mrs. G.
C. McCombs and the building contractor, Norman R. Barker,
Air. McCombs stated that none of the neighbors objected to him building
the sundeck and that he had a letter of approval from one neighbor.
•Carl Yates made a motion to approve this request for variance. The
motion was seconded by J. F. Palmer and was approved unanimously.
J. F. Palmer made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 7, 1969
Board of Adjustment minutes. The motion was seconded by Carl Yates
and approved unanimously.
I.t was decided by the members of the Board to have future meetings on
Monday afternoons rather than on Wednesday afternoons as they had been
formerly scheduled.
Thereebeing no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:20 p.m.
