ADJOURNED MEETING
Held Thursday, May 8, 1969 at 10:00 a.m.
Members Present: J.F. Robinson, J.F. Palmer, Ed Clement, Roy Clinton,
Carl Yates.
Members Absent: None.
Others Present: Harold Lieberenz, Carl Tune.
Mr. J.F. Robinson, Chairman, explained the variance request of Mr. Carl
Tune to Roy Clinton and Carl Yates, members who were not present at the
meeting Wednesday, May 7, 1969.
Mr. Robinson also read Section 5 of Article 8 of the Zoning Regulations,
which sets out the powers of the Board of Adjustment.
Mr. Clinton asked if the proposed drive would go over the sewer. Mr.
Lieberenz said that :it would go over the sewer.
Mr. Clinton asked if Mr. Tune's property is zoned C-22 Thoroughfare
Commercial District. Mr. Lieberenz stated that the property is
zoned I-lA, Light Industrial District,
Mr. Clinton then asked what zone the Church property is in and Mr.
Lieberenz said that it is in R-2, Two Family Residential Distirct.
• At this time Carl Tune arrived with a letter from John E. Mahaffey of
the North Street Church of Christ stating that after due consideration
and meetings of the elders}that the church does not object to the
granting of the variance as requested by Mr. Tune,
Mr. Palmer then made a motion to approve the variance as requested.
Mr. Yates seconded the motion and it passed with a vote of 4 ayes
and 1 nay by Ed Clement.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:40 p.m.
