0 BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The Board of Adjustment met at G:00 P. M., Wednesday, duly 24, 1968 in
the Board of Directors' Room of the City Administration Building, '
Fayettbville, Arkansas,
Members Present: J. F. Robinson, J. F. Palmer, Wade Fincher
Members Absent: Ed Clement, Carl Yates
Others Present: Present: Harold Lieberene, Sturman Mackey, Paris F. Raymond Paris Raymond
Good Shepard Luthern
The annlication to be considered by the Board of Adjustment was fmom Church
Paris F. Raymond, acting for Good Shenherd Lutheran Church, for a
,variance of 25 feet on both the East side and the West side of the church.
This would place the set backs on the two sides at 50 feet each.
A discussion was held on the annlication. Mr. Robinson asked why the church
was asking for a variance of 50 feet when it anneared they only needed about
10 feet. Mr. Raymond said that the extra footage might be used later for
expansion of the church building.
During the discussion Mr. Raymond stated that construction was slated to
• begin in October.
Mr. Lieberens then informed the Bo^rd that an extension of time should be
considered along with the variance.
Mr. Robinson thanked Mr. Raymond and the aanlicant was dismissed.
After the remaining brief discussion J. F. Palmer moved that "the Board
of Adjustment an^rove the annlication of Paris F. Raymond and instruct
the Building Insnectpvks Office to issue a building Dermit and grant as
extension of time until January 1, 1969." The motion was seconded b:�
Wade Fincher and was nassed unanimously.
Next, on a motion by J. F. Palmer and second by Wade Fincher, the minutes
of the meetings of April 24, 1968 and June 19, 1968, were unanimously
annroved as mailed.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 4:25 P. M.
