M., Wednesday, June 19, 1968 in the Direscors' Room of the City Adminstration Building, Members Present: J. F. Robinson, Wade Fincher, Ed Clement. Members:Absent: Carl Yates and J. F. Plamer.• Others Present: Me. and Mrs. John T. Sager, Mr. Paul Guisinger, Harold Lieberena. The Meeting was called to order by the Chairman, J. F. Robinson. Mr: \& Mrs. John T. Sager The first application to be heard was filed by Mr. and Mrs. John T. Sager. Mr. and Mrs. John T. Sager request permission to erect a new dwelling on Shrewsbury Lane. The proposed dwelling would be closer to the rear property line than the thirty (30) feet required by the City Zoning Ordinance. The proposed dwelling would only be twenty-one (21) feet from the rear property line. Mr. Paul Guisinger Mr. and Mrs. Sager and Mr. Paul Guisinger were present to represent the petition for a variance. Mr. Robinson asked if anyone had objected to the request. Mr. Lieberene said that no one had contacted him. Mr. Gutsinger stated that Mr. Jerry 46 Hudson was the closest property owner and that he had no objection. Mr. Sager said that they had a letter from the South Hampton Architectural Committee. This committee can waiver the protective covenants of South Hampton addition and this committee approved the twenty-one (21) feet rear setback. Mr. Guisinger said that the sewer line is being worked out with Mr. Hudson and Mr. Richard Starr, City Engineer. The sewer will have to cross Mr. Hudson's back yard. There was no further discussion and the applicants were dismissed. Mr. Wade Fincher moved that the Board of Adjustment approved the application of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Sager for a variance from the City Zoning Ordinance and approve the request ddr a twenty-one (21) feet rear yard setback. The motion was seconded by Mr. Ed Clement and approved unanimously. Next the Board of Adjustment discussed granting an extension of time on a variance for Mr. Ralph Hayes. The time limit on obtaining a building permit had expired and Mr. Hayes had requested a futher extension of time. The Board discussed the matter and it was their opinion that had they known at the time that Mr. Ralph Hayes would have needed more time the Board would have granted a longer extension of time. • Ed Clements made a motion that the Board grant an extension of tins to July 1, 1969. The motion was seconded by Wade Fincher and approved unanimously. There being no further business Mr. J. F. Robinson moved the meeting be adjourned.
