• BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The Board of Adjustment met in a special meeting at 11:00 a.m.,
Friday, November 3, 1967 in the Directors Room in the City
Administration Building,
Members Present: Wade Fincher, J.F. Robinson, Carl Yates,
and Ed Clement
Members Absent: J.F. Palmer
The meeting was called to order by Chairman, J.F. Robinson, who read
a letter from the City Attorney, Mr. Hugh Kincaid, giving his opinion
of 'Trailer Homes as Guest Houses in the A-1, Annexed Territory District'.
Mr. Kincaid stated in his letter that in his opinion in a Zone which
permits trailer homes and guest houses, a trailer home could be used
as a guest house.
Mr. Robinson said he felt that on this basis the Board of Adjustment
would be obligated to grant Mr. Charley Collins permission to use MRS. CHARLEY
the trailer home in question as a guest house on condition that, it COLLINS
be placed on a permanent foundation and properly connected to the
• City Utilities.
A motion was made by Carl Yates that the Board of Adjustment instruct
the City Building Inspeetor to issue a permit to Mr. Collins for
placing a trailer home on his lot, with said trailer to be used as
a guest house, to be properly connected to the City Utilities and
placed on a permanent foundation.
The motion was seconded by Wade Fincher and passed unanimously.
There being no further business the meeting eras adjourned.
