Members present: John I. Smith, J. A. Pennington, George Bowen and James Kerlin. Members absent: J. F. Robinson. Others present: George Kinter. The meeting was called to order by Chairman John I. Smith. The minutes of October 20, 1965, were approved as written and mailed to the Board members. The only application before the Board was that of Mr. Fred Nettles. Mr. Nettles had requested permission to build a duplex upon a lot with 50 foot street frontage; whereas the zoning ordinance requires 60 feet of street frontage in the R-3 zone. The lot in question is located on Buchanan Avenue east of Bates Elementary School. Mr. Fred Nettles was not present to answer the few questions the members asked. Mr. George Kinter of Kinter Realty Company attended the meeting. He told the • Board his only interest was a general one in the outcome of the request. He merely wanted to know whether or not the Board would approve the construction of a duplex upon a lot with 50 feet of street frontage. He said he had no personal interest or opinion of Mr. Nettles' application. George Bowen moved that the Board of Adjustment defer action on the application of Mr. Fred Nettles and that Mr. Nettles be requested to attend the next meeting of the Board to answer questions and explain his application. The motion was seconded by James Pennington and passed unanimously. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. Date: 0 Respectfully submitted, A7'L y4iaG2a Secretary
