Ramey, applicant; and Cecil C. Blair. The meeting was called to order by J. F. Robinson who presided in the absence of Chairman John I. Smith. The first application to be heard was that of Mr. W. W. Ramey who requested permission to use the property at 618 North Willow Avenue for a home occupation. Mr. Ramey wished to establish his real estate office in his home. This type home occupation is permitted in the R -1B Single Family Residential District, Mr. Ramey stated that in the 500 and 600 Blocks of North Willow Avenue there are 21 houses in these two blocks -7 residences and 14 rentals.. His experience for the past 2 years has shown that 85% of his real estate • business was,handled over the telephone and 15% were drop-i_n'a at the office. Out of 20 sales completed 17 never entered the office. . Mr. Ramey -felt there would -,be no traffic problem as there was enough off-street parking space, for ,7 care. Mr. Ramey filed with the Board of Adjustment his letter regarding the residential character of the neighborhood, the amount of.real setate.sales completed, off- street parking;_etcic_: Mr. Cecil C. Action was deferred on the application until such time that the Board members could see'the location of the proposed operation.. James A. Pennington moved that the Board of Adjistment approve the request mad by We We Ramey for permission to operate his real estate business in his home at 618 North Willow Avenue., The operation is to be a home occupation 'and is to1bcm;)ly;with the requirements of said use as allted in the zoning ordinance. The motion was seconded by George Bowen and passed unanimously* The minutes of March 24, 1965; April 14, 1965f and April 21, 1965, dere approved as written and mailed to the Board of Adjustment. re.
