Crocker, Sr. Mr, Loris Stanton Mr. Richard McChristian, applicant Mr. Harold Lieberenz, City Building Insp. Mr. Clarence Young Absent: Mr. L. M. ,Mc Goodwin Mr. Clarence Young, acting Chairman, called the meeting to order and the minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Mr. Lieberenz read the joint application of Mr. Clyde Taulby at 321 S. Washington Ave. and Mr. Richard McChristian at 319 S. Washington Ave. The applicants wish to erect a double residential garage building that will be closer to their side property lines than the five (5) feet required by the Zoning Ordinance. The center of the garage sets right on the propertyline. Mr. McChristian uses one side and Mr. Taulby uses the other. Mr. Young asked Mr. McChristian to give the Board some reason why he would like to rebuild his part of the garage. isn't an attic, Mr. McChristian stated that the lot is narrow, only 42 feet, it was that size tvhen he bought it. His home is only one story and there isn't an attic, so therefore, he has no storage space in his house and has to use the garage. Mr. Young asked if he rebuilt his half of the garage, would it be any larger? Mr. McChristian replied only one foot. Mr. Young stated that it would be better to rebuild his garage now than later on, since it is in a bad shape now. Mr. McChiistian stated that the present building is a fire hazard and Mr. Taulby had started to repair his half, but due to some conditions, he has postponed finishing it. There being no further discussion;.,roll was called and a vote indicated. Mr. Young Yes Mr. Bowen Yes Mr. Crocker Yes Mr, Stanton Yes The application was granted. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. Approved:
