He desires to build a carport 3 feet from his vest property linA Pan the
5 feet required by the zoning ordinancee,
Mr. Lewis stated that the Board could not go on the basis:of how the
carport would look or the appearance of such, since the ordinance states that
5 fte should be maintained from the property line. Excerpts from Ordinance
1002 were read to the Board and Mr. Noel by 1dr. Lieberens. Mr. Noel stated
that he was financially unable to build a garage at this time and felt that.
al carport set out by itself would look out of place.
Mr. Young moved that the variance be denied because good reason had not
been given to warrant granting. It was also stated that therep was ample
room to build a garage in his back yard and that there was not arur distinct
topographical conditions pAent to prevent building. Mr. Lewis seconded
that variance be denied. Roll was calledt
