BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked the Secretary
to read the Minutes of the adjourned meeting held February 26,
1953. They were approved as read. The discussion of Mr. Fred
OtBaugh! s application was continued and each member of the Board
reported he had observed Mr. OtBaugh's site. Mr. Young informed
the Board he had discussed the.situation with Mr. Haskell Utley
who said he was agreeable to having Mr. OtBaugh place his car-
port three and one-half feet from the property line.
The Board, holding in mind the inconvenience and added expense
a denial of the application would mean, looked to the Zoning
Ordinance for substantiation to grant the application. It
was conclusive that unless an undue hardship or prohibition
of reasonable use of the property was involved the Board had
no authoritative support from the Ordinance to grant the re-
quest.
Mr. Young then moved that the request for variation be denied.
Mr. Bryan seconded the motion. Roll was called:

There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
