HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 5224 ORDINANCE NO, 5224 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE XV : UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE OF THE CODE OF FAYETTEVILLE TO AMEND CHAPTER 161 : ZONING DISTRICTS IN ORDER TO AMEND AND UNIFY BUILDING SETBACK AND BUILDING HEIGHT REGULATIONS IN RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY, MULTI-FAMILY AND RESIDENTIAL-OFFICE ZONING DISTRICTS. WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville has adopted Urban Residential Design Standards that requires buildings to front city streets and locate parking behind the structure; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Regulations in Chapter 161 dictate building placement and structure heights; and WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville recognizes that the Zoning Regulations, Design Guidelines and methods of measuring building placement and height should be consistent; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1 . That Chapter 161 : Zoning Regulations is amended by repealing and replacing specific sections, a copy of which marked Exhibit "A" is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
