Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 4892 ORDINANCE NO. 4892 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND § 33.108 COMPENSATION OF ARTICLE VII PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE TO PROVIDE THAT PLANNING COMMISSIONERS S14ALL BE COMPENSATED WHEREAS, Arkansas law provides that municipal planning commissioners shall be entitled to receive compensation if so authorized by ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commissioners devote many hours weekly in their statutory duty to help plan our rapid development during Subdivision Committee meetings, Agenda meeting, regular Planning Commission meetings and special Planning Commission meetings (Downtown Code, Hillside Task Force, 2025 Plan, etc.); and WHEREAS, it is right and proper that these appointed commissioners receive some compensation for all the valuable and necessary work that they perform for the City.
