BACKGROUND Currently, the City of Fayetteville borders 82 percent of the South Rupple Road Island while the City of Farmington borders 18 percent. Station 7 on Rupple Road will cover the North section of this property with an anticipated response time of 2.25 minutes to the beginning of the development. Station 6 on S Hollywood will cover the South section of this property with an anticipated response time of 2.75 minutes to the beginning of the development. Since there is no joining roads through this property it is not possible to anticipate the response time to the entire property, but it will fall well within the 6 minute goal the fire department has for both stations. Our goal of assembling all responding units to the scene of a moderate risk assignment within 10 minutes, 90% of the time, will also be met. Both Station 2 and Station 1 have an anticipated response time of 8 minutes. If the entire 480 acres was annexed and re-zoned at R-4 (4 units/acre), we would anticipate this area to produce 440 runs (173 fire/other and 267 EMS). The service impact of this development will typically take eighteen months, after the development is started, to occur. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
