Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 4694 0 ORDINANCE NO. 4694 AN ORDINANCE TO WAIVE THE TIME LIMITATION OF SUBSECTION § 156.05(F) OF THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR THE VARIANCE GRANTED TO THE NORTHWEST ARKANSAS MALL WHEREAS, the Board of Sign Appeals granted the variance request of the Northwest Arkansas Mall to place five types of uniform signs on light poles in its five area parking lots to assist patrons in locating their parked vehicles; and WHEREAS, the Northwest Arkansas Mall properly and timely submitted the required information and documentation for three of these types of signs, but, through misunderstanding of the Code's requirements, did not submit the other two types within the permitted time period; and WHEREAS, the Northwest Arkansas Mall' s effort to assist its patrons by identifying the parking lot in which their car is located will be undermined if the time limit of § 156.05(F) is not waived in this case. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1 : That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby waives the requirement of § 156.05(F) in this sole case to allow the Northwest Arkansas Mall to complete its parking lot identification plan within 90 days of this date.
