AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL §117.87 (C) (2) HORSES
OF THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE AND ENACT A
NEW §117.87 (C) (2) HORSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1 . That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas
hereby repeals §117.87 (C) (2) Horses of the Fayetteville Code and enacts a new
§117.87 (C) (2) Horses as shown below:
"117.87 (C) (2) Horses.
"Unless the operator, holder or handler of a horse or
pony ride keeps all of its mounted horses or ponies
adequately and safely tethered to a ring apparatus,
the operator, holder or handler shall ensure that every
rider wears a bicycle-type safety helmet while riding
on horseback."
PASSED and APPROVED this the 17th day of June, 2003.
