BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1 . That §50.40(A)(2) Code of Fayetteville is hereby repealed, and the following is inserted in its stead: §50.40 Rates for services. (A) Residential service. The current program has approximately 2,800 subscribers who pay approximately $67,500 per year for the service. This revenue from the subscription service would be lost, as would the need for the debagging operation at the approximate annual cost of $46,000 plus 1 ,744 hours of work release/community service time from the City and County jails. The compostable paper bag program was implemented on November 1 . This Ordinance is necessary to fully implement the program as approved by the City Council.
