AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ADO ] - 12.00 TO AMEND
CHAPTER 160 ZONING DISTRICTS AND 161 ZONING
REGULATIONS OF THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT
ORDINANCE TO INCLUDE ADDITIONAL MULTI-FAMILY
ZONING DISTRICTS, RMF-6, RMF- 12, RMF- 18, SUBMITTED
BY THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE PLANNING DIVISION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Chapter 160, Zoning Districts of the Unified Development
Ordinance, shall be amended to include RMF-6, RMF- 12 and RMF- 18 as
follows:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That Chapter 161 , Zoning Regulations of the Unified Development
Ordinance, shall be amended to include § 161 .061 DISTRICT RMF-6 :
LOW DENSITY MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL as follows:
See Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 3. That Chapter 161 , Zoning Regulations of the Unified Development
Ordinance, shall be amended to include, § 161 .062 DISTRICT RMF- 12 :
MODERATE DENSITY MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL as follows:
See Exhibit "C" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 4. That Chapter 161 , Zoning Regulations of the Unified Development
Ordinance, shall be amended to include, § 161 .063 DISTRICT RMF- 18 :
MEDIUM DENSITY MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL as follows:
See Exhibit "D" attached hereto and made a part hereof.

A. Purpose. The Low Density Multi-family Residential District is designed to permit and encourage the
development of multifamily residences at a low density that is appropriate to the area and can serve as a transition
between higher densities and single family residential areas.
