AN ORDINANCE WAIVING COMPETITIVE�BIDDING
AND PROVIDED A CONTRACT TO COMMAND
COMMUNICATIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF PORTABLE
RADIOS AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $34,000.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the competitive bidding is hereby waived for the purchase of
portable radios and mobile radios at a cost not to exceed $34,000 from Command
Communications, for the reason that said competitive bidding is impractical and unfeasible as
the supplier will not hold these specially marked items through a bid process.
Section 2 . That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter in to a contract with
Command Communications for the purchase of portable and mobile radios at a cost not to
exceed $34,000.
