AN ORDINANCE REPEALING §72 .99(B) AND (E) OF THE
CODE OF FAYETTEVILLE AND SETTING FINES FOR
EACH VIOLATION OF §72. 13 , §72.577 AND §72. 58(J) OF
THE CODE OF FAYETTEVILLE IN EXCESS OF FIVE (5)
ANY CALENDAR MONTH AT $25 .00 IF PAID BEFORE
ISSUANCE OF A SUMMONS, CITATION , OR ARREST
WARRANT AND AT $50.00 THEREAFTER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That §72.99 Penalties, §(B) is hereby repealed and the following is
substituted in its place:
§72 .99 Penalties.
(B) The penalty for each violation of §72 . 13, §72 .57, or §72 .58(J) shall
be $2.00 if paid before the issuance of a summons, citation, or arrest warrant;
otherwise, the penalty for each violation of §72. 13 , §72.57, or §72 . 58(J) shall
be $5 .00; provided the penalty for each violation of §72. 13, §72 . 57, or
§72. 58(1) in excess of five (5) in any calendar month shall be $25 .00 if paid
before the issuance of a summons, citation, or arrest warrant; otherwise the
penalty for each violation of §72. 13, §72 .57, or §72 .58(J) in excess of five (5)
in any calendar month shall be $50.00.
Section 2 . That §72.99(E) is hereby repealed in its entirety .
