AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 160.055 , USE
UNITS; UNIT 21 WAREHOUSING AND WHOLESALE, OF
THE CODE OF FAYETTEVILLE TO INSERT MINISTORAGE
UNITS AS AN ALLOWED ACTIVITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville has previously administered the zoning ordinance
by considering ministorage units to be classified as a use under Use Unit 17, Trades and
Services; and
WHEREAS, administration of the zoning ordinance allowing development of ministorage
units under Use Unit 17 has resulted in development which is incompatible with adjoining
properties and zones; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville now desires to classify ministorage units under Use
Unit 21 , Warehousing and Wholesale, in order to maintain compatibility with adjacent land uses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1 . That Section 160.055 : Unit 21 , Warehousing and Wholesale of the Code of
Fayetteville is hereby amended to insert ministorage units as an allowed activity .
