ORDINANCE NO. 3861 WASHINGTON CO AR
K. HARNESS
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING RIGHT
OF WAY GRANT 92-50110 FROM FAYETTEVILLE SCHOOL
DISTRICT NO. 1 ACROSS WEST CAMPUS PROPERTY.
WHEREAS , the City Council has the authority under Ark. Code Ann . § 14-54- 104 to
vacate public grounds which are not required for corporate purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the following described right-of-way
is not required for corporate purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby vacates and abandons all
of its rights together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the following described
right-of-way:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2. A copy of this Ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed
in the office of the Recorder of the County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.

EXHIBIT "A"
Properly Description:
The West Half (W 1/2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Southwest
Quarter (SWI /4) of Section 17 , Township 16 North, Range 30 West,
Washington County , Arkansas, as described in Deed Book 646 at Page 200
of the Office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder of Washington
County, Arkansas_
Permanent Easement Description :
A thirty (30) foot permanent utility easement of equal and uniform width located
across a part of the above described property and being 692 feet, more or less,
in length, the centerline of said easement being more particularly described as
beginning at a point South 672.54 feet from the Northwest corner of the above
described property , said point being on the West line of the above described
property; thence along said centerline East 15 .20 feet; thence South 40' 49'00"
East 95 .00 feet; thence South 890 11 ' 50" East 582 .09 feet, more or less, to a
point on the East property line, said point also being located 747. 30 feet South
of the Northeast corner of the above described property . This permanent utility
easement contains 0.48 acre, more or less. The bearings for this description are
based on a Warranty Deed recorded in deed Book 993 at Page 632 and on a Plat
of Survey recorded in DR 2-404 of the Office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-
Officio Recorder of Washington County , Arkansas, which may vary from the
bearing system previously used in describing the subject property.
