ORDINANCE NO. 3827
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING AN
EAST-WEST ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN BERRY STREET
AND EAGLE STREET, ADJACENT TO STORER AVENUE
AS REQUESTED BY JIM WILSON .
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority under A .C. A. § 14-54- 104 to vacate
portions of streets and alleys which are not required for corporate purposes and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the east-west alley located between
Berry Street and Eagle Street, adjacent to Storer Avenue, is not required for corporate
purposes.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the City Council hereby vacates and abandons the east-west alley
located between Berry Street and Eagle Street, as more fully set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof, contingent upon the relocation of the water line located within
the subject alley.
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed
in the office of the recorder of the county and recorded in the deed records of the county.
